kPoint is founded
After getting incubated in its parent organization for a year, kPoint becomes an independent company to pursue its own fortunes. The goal: enable use of video at work!
2011
Wins the 1st customer
Pune Institute of Computer Technology, better known as PICT, placed its faith in the product and installed the full kPoint system for capturing their professors’ lectures.
2013
Crosses 100K+ Users
When Cognizant Academy signed us up for org-wide usage, we crossed the 100 K users milestone in one big jump along with huge scalability changes in the platform.
2014
Wins CODiE Recognition
kPoint Technologies, a technology innovator in video search and analytics, is announced as a finalist in the 2014 SIIA Software CODiE Awards for Best Video Solution that provides in-video search and analytics.

Wins Gold at Brandon Hall Awards
kPoint won Gold in the Best Advance in Unique Learning Technology category at the prestigious Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards 2015

kPoint crosses 100,000 video uploads with more than 50 customers.

Releases Enterprise CDN
kPoint makes video distribution in large enterprise campuses bandwidth-efficient. Its release of Point of Presence (PoP), a media caching solution for video. The innovative caching solution significantly improves viewer experience by providing rapid video loading, uninterrupted video streaming, and the highest possible screen resolution.
2017
Gets ISO 27001 Certification
kPoint has been awarded the ISO 27001 certification. It identifies requirements for a comprehensive information security management standard and defines business processes to help identify, manage and reduce risks to information security.
2018
Replaces YouTube Hosting at a BFSI Major
kPoint hosting replaces YouTube hosting for all the marketing video content at the largest Non-banking financial company (NBFC) in India, providing deeper viewership analytics and matching performance across India.
2019
Offers Secure, Scalable Live Streaming
kPoint launches its secure and scalable Live Streaming functionality integrated with the eCDN and with a provision for reaching to users outside the organizations. kPoint also crossed 1 million users.
2020
Growth 5X
Enterprise usage grows 2X to 5X. Launches offerings for individual and small teams.

Work From Home and Party At Work
Employees at kPoint Technologies will continue Working From Home for the foreseeable future. The decision was made by implementing carefully thought out strategies after reviewing the year 2020.
